Loved the nachos with everything on it. Also my favorite salsa in town. Chile rellenos my girlfriend ordered was fantastic. The owners always remember our name and greet us each time. Great local Mexican place.
This little out of the way place is a gem. However, their menu is limited and they only serve Pepsi products. The salsa is really good and I was full when I left.
The only place in Helena that really can do Mexican food like I used to get in California. Shredded meats are essential to real Mexican food, for both texture and flavor (it seems to absorb the spices differently than ground meat does).
I won't go back for one reaon; ths is one of those restaurants where the servers hold the tablet in front of your face suggesting huge tips well beyond the typical 20%. More and more of my friends are tired of the greedy tablets, so I'm hoping this becomes a trend. Otherwise the food was fine.
